GBP — Annual Budget Release

UK Annual Budget, Chancellor of the Exchequer का Parliament को दिया गया मुख्य fiscal-policy statement है। इसमें tax और spending decisions होते हैं और यह सामान्यतः Office for Budget Responsibility (OBR) के independent Economic and fiscal outlook के साथ प्रकाशित होता है। यह conventional data release नहीं है: Forecast या Previous से तुलना करने के लिए कोई single Actual value नहीं होती। Markets पूरे package का आकलन करते हैं, जिसमें borrowing, taxation, departmental spending, public investment, gilt issuance implications तथा growth, inflation, unemployment और public finances पर OBR projections शामिल हैं।

GBP और UK government bonds के लिए मुख्य सवाल है कि package fiscal और monetary policy के expected mix को कैसे बदलता है। अपेक्षा से बड़ा fiscal expansion near-term growth और inflation expectations बढ़ा सकता है, पर projected borrowing और gilt supply भी बढ़ा सकता है; tighter policy का प्रभाव उलटा हो सकता है। प्रतिक्रिया केवल headline spending बढ़ी या घटी पर नहीं, credibility, funding, timing और economic backdrop पर निर्भर करती है। OBR forecasts stated policy और assumptions पर आधारित estimates हैं, promises नहीं, और बाद के fiscal events में materially बदल सकती हैं। Newly announced measures को पहले से announced या reclassified items से अलग करें और Chancellor के headline totals के बजाय detailed scorecard पढ़ें। स्रोत: HM Treasury and the Office for Budget Responsibility (OBR).
